My Trip to Camp

KAYAKING

Splash! My bright yellow kayak bounced off the bushes as I tried to launch it into the wild wavy river.  It finally slid into the water, and floated next to the bank.

I knew it was going to be hard to get into so I tried to climb in slowly and carefully.  In slow motion the kayak tipped as I was climbing over. I fell in the deep cold water and it came over my head.

I thought I was going to drown, I tried to swim but it didn’t work. I struggled and got my head above the water and called for help. Allan saved my life. Trinity helped me by pulling my hand to get me out of the water. I nearly drowned!
